From campus to community, our journey of passion and purpose
Arche Designs was built on a shared passion for problem-solving, creativity, and purpose.
Our story begins in the late 1990s at Clemson University, where Diallo S. Moore and Darrell L. Reddick crossed paths on campus. Though our academic paths were different, they complemented each other perfectly. Darrell was a graphic design major, focused on visual storytelling and creative expression. Diallo was an industrial engineering major, immersed in systems, structure, and functionality.
During Diallo's junior year, he developed a plant-wide intranet project using relational databases—designed to help management communicate, share files, and streamline operations. It wasn't flashy, but it worked exceptionally well. Around the same time, Darrell designed a website for a class project—it looked amazing, but its functionality was limited. That contrast sparked conversations, collaboration, and ultimately a friendship that extended beyond campus.
A Partnership Born from Complementary Skills
Not long after, we teamed up on our first pro bono website for Darrell's church. That project confirmed what we already felt—we worked better together than apart. About six months later, we were entrusted to build a website for one of the largest property management companies in Clemson, South Carolina. That moment marked a turning point.
From those early projects forward, we realized our work wasn't just about websites—it was about helping organizations communicate clearly, serve people better, and grow with intention.
Our faith, values, and love for community naturally led us to focus on churches, nonprofits, and mission-driven organizations. We saw a need for digital solutions that were not only visually engaging, but also functional, sustainable, and easy to manage.
